Fulfilling four critical functions for any dog (from puppyhood to maturity), Masha’s Tropical Jungle cheese bones tackle teething problems in young puppies, provide a superb teeth and gum massage for dogs of all ages, are a fully natural treat of exceptional quality and, most importantly, provide your dog with fantastic nutrients and minerals to support its immune system: bananas, mangoes and milk. In addition, as you can see from the pictures of the product, we very carefully apply gentle ridges on one side of the bones, to ensure a perfect grip and soothing massage for your dog’s gums!
Masha’s Tropical Jungle Cheese Bones contain no colourants, no artificial flavours, no preservatives and no additives of any kind. They are 100% natural and contain only bananas, mangoes, 4% fat organic goat milk, Himalayan pink salt, and organic lime juice. Our cheese bones are homemade, handmade, individually cut and cured in small batches to ensure a superb quality product for any dog!
The science: Bananas are high in potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. In fact, sometimes veterinarians recommend this fruit as a healthy alternative to fatty, salty treats. The fruit is also high in fibre, which can help if your dog is having gastrointestinal problems, and magnesium, which promotes bone growth and helps the body produce protein and absorb vitamins (source: American Kennel Club). Mango is high in fibre, as well as vitamin A, B6, C, and E, making it quite nutritious for both humans and dogs (source: American Kennel Club). Goat milk contains vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements, enzymes, protein, and fatty acids and has been dubbed by the Journal of American Medicine as “the most complete food known”. In addition, the goat milk has been found to be more suitable for dogs who have a mild lactose intolerance as it is easily digestible. According to the American Kennel Club, some lactose intolerant dogs have trouble drinking milk, but can handle dairy products like cheese and plain yogurt, which are typically easier to digest.
